18/01/2016

Orchestra Brasil, a project to encourage exports – a partnership between the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), will take part in KBIS Las Vegas, from January 19-21.This is the fifth consecutive participation of the project in the fair that brings together trends and technologies for kitchens and bathrooms. This year, Adami and Metalsinos are the companies that will showcase their new products in a joint booth.

During the exhibition, the companies will show their lines of supplies and accessories. Adami, based in Santa Catarina, is searching business in the Americas offering a new line of handles, pinus panels, MDF shelves and a modular system. The products are coated with melamine and UV painting or natural finish. Metalsinos expects to generate business by offering a collection of handles in tune with the demands of the global furniture market.

The United States is still the largest market for the exports of the companies participating in the Orchestra Brasil Project. The action plan promoted in this market in the last four years has helped companies to establish and consolidate business in the area. In addition to the suppliers of goods for the furniture industry, the project also promotes the internationalization of Brazilian design studios, which are currently focused on entering the US market.

The Orchestra Brasil Project has been carried out since 2006 promoting the competitive inclusion of suppliers to the woodworking sector in the international market. To achieve this goal it promotes market research, missions to prospect markets, individual actions, Buyer’s Projects, Seller’s Projects and Image projects, in addition to taking part in major world trade fairs. Currently, Orchestra Brasil comprises 62 manufacturing companies. The priority markets for 2016 are South Africa, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, the United States, Mexico, Peru and Turkey.

At KBIS 2016, the booth of the Orchestra Brasil Project is located at   N976/N977, North Hall.
