OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

26/02/2020

Due to the large number of foreigners expected to visit Movelsul Brasil 2020, the fair organizers would like to inform its exhibitors, visitors and the community of Bento Gonçalves about the procedures adopted to avoid health problems at the fair.

A service structure will be provided in a partnership with the Municipal Health Department for the specialized care of any and all suspicious cases, taking immediate action for the isolation of any person with symptoms of the new Coronavirus.

It is important to point out that, internationally, airports are operating within strict rules to prevent the departure of any traveler with suspicious symptoms. On their arrival in Brazil, customs officials are operating in the same way, under the guidance of the Public Health Emergency Operations Center for the new Coronavirus (COE – nCoV) of the Ministry of Health. The Federal Government has already announced that it may suspend flights from countries with confirmed cases at any time, in addition to sending action protocols on a daily basis to the State Health Departments, which in turn transmit these guidelines to the Municipal Health Departments.

The Municipal Health Department of Bento Gonçalves informs that its Emergency Medical Service and the Tacchini Hospital team are prepared to receive any patient with symptoms of the virus. Movelsul Brasil will have sanitation tools at all information points of the fair. In addition, an ambulance and first-aid service will be available during the entire installation and dismantling periods for the transportation of any visitor, exhibitor or staff member who needs assistance. During the period of the fair, outpatient care will be provided together with a mobile ICU. Confident that we will not have health complications at our fair, Movelsul Brasil advises its exhibitors and visitors to perform the standard operating procedures to prevent any viruses:

• Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth before washing your hands properly.

• Maintain social distance between yourself and anyone who is sick.

• Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze.

• Stay home and avoid close contact with others when you are sick.

• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and objects.
