Four member companies of Orchestra Brasil – a project to encourage exports organized by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) – will be present at Interzum, held from May 5 – 8 in Cologne, Germany. This is one of the world’s largest events for suppliers to the furniture industry and interior design. The companies that will exhibit are Adami, Araupel, Brasmacol and CPI Papéis.
Interzum boosts innovations for the furniture industry worldwide. The last show featured 1,500 exhibitors from 60 countries. Conveniently located, the easy access to the Koelnmesse exhibition center further expands the scope of the fair. Although Germany is not among the target markets of the Orchestra Brasil Project, taking part in it broadens the project access to customers around the world. Since more than 65% of the visitors and exhibitors are foreign, it is the most international event of the sector.
Participating in Interzum is strategic for the Orchestra Brasil Project, which has taken part in the event since 2009. Year after year, the fair has proven essential and increased its relevance in the annual calendar of events, both for its world-wide scope and the quality of the contacts made.
Orchestra Brasil is a sector-based project that promotes the inclusion of suppliers to the woodworking industry and the sustainable entry of Brazilian design into the international market. To achieve this goal it promotes market research, missions to prospect markets, individual actions, Buyer’s Projects, Seller’s Projects and Image Projects, in addition to taking part in major world trade fairs. Currently, Orchestra Brasil comprises 73 companies and 50 design studios.
