Movelsul Brasil, Latin America's main furniture fair for retailers and importers, has already sold 75% of its exhibit spaces for the next show, which will take place from March 16-19, 2020 in Bento Gonçalves. Major brands including Bertolini, Carraro, Castor Mattresses, Caemmun, Kappesberg, Moval, Herval, DJ Móveis and Tramontina are confirmed. The fair is expected to have 200 large-scale exhibitors showcasing home furnishings, custom-designed furniture and corporate furniture.
A great number of concurrent projects expands Movelsul Brasil's appeal to the national and foreign public, ensuring an assertive business environment for the furniture industry, with qualified visitors from at least 30 countries. 400 shopkeepers with high business potential will be brought with expenses paid by the fair – 300 national and 100 international buyers to take part in business meetings during the Buyer’s Project.
The president of Sindmóveis, Vinicius Benini, points out that Movelsul Brasil is a fair organized by the furniture industry for the furniture industry, with competence to bring together the main players of the woodworking industry for business promotion and for the industry to show retailers and importers their investments in innovation, technology and productivity. “We are working to increase the number of qualified professional visitors who have the potential to do business directly with the exhibiting companies,” he says.
Tramontina, one of Movelsul Brasil's largest exhibitors, has been taking part in the fair since 1982. Next edition, the company will mix even more its lines of indoor and outdoor furniture. The president of Tramontina, Clovis Tramontina, believes that their participation in 2018 was extremely positive, resulting in several contacts and business proposals. “We received qualified visitors at out booth, including architects, manufacturers and dealers, as well as our main clients, which brought a large flow of people during the period of the fair. We show our flagship products, which sparks the interest of the national and international attendees”, he says.
An exhibiting company since 2004, Caemmun Movelaria includes Movelsul Brasil in its positioning strategy, due to the quality of visiting retailers, both national ones and importers, and the business results obtained during the fair over the years. The CEO of Grupo Munhoz Caetano, Diego Munhoz, points out that during the last Movelsul Brasil they had a record number of visitors and sales volume generated from both the international business meetings and the ones held at their booth. "The outlook for the next edition is very promising, as the relevance of the event for our business strategy is in line with what the event provides in terms of business, relationships and services to our customers," he says.
Movelsul Brasil is the largest furniture fair in Latin America in exhibition area and number of exhibitors, organized with assertiveness by Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves since 1977. It is held in the largest furniture manufacturing region in Brazil: an event with great business potential in the domestic market and strong attraction for importers from the main target markets for the Brazilian furniture industry.
