Movelsul seeks the support of city government and security agencies for the period of the fair

Representatives of the Service Department of Movelsul Brasil 2012 held a meeting with the municipal government and security agencies last week to emphasize the need to invest in the area around Parque de Eventos during the period of the fair. The president of Movelsul, João Paulo Pompermayer requested the support of the Departments of Public Works, Environment, Health and Municipal Traffic to implement improvements in traffic signs, maintenance and cleaning of roads and traffic management.
Representatives of the Fire Brigade, Military Police and State Traffic Police also attended the meeting, pledging to set up patrols in the city and to monitor the accesses to the exhibition center. The flow of heavy vehicles in Bento Gonçalves has intensified since March 13, when the installation period started for the 300 exhibitors at the fair. During Movelsul Brasil 2012, 26-30 March, more than 35,000 visitors are expected.
