The African continent has been an option for the Brazilian furniture export companies, which are trying to recover after decreasing their sales by 6.5% in the last semester. In its first participation in a major event in Africa, Movelsul Brasil 2016 will have a booth at the Maputo International Trade Fair (Facim), to be held from August 31 to September 6 in the capital of Mozambique.
Searching for new contacts and visitors to the fair, Movelsul will exhibit in the Brazilian pavilion at Facim, having also scheduled business meetings with furniture importers. Although it ranks 9th among the largest furniture exporters to Mozambique, Brazil negotiated more than US$ 1.7 million with that country in 2014, and it still has good opportunities to increase this amount.
The 14th Movelsul Brasil, the major furniture fair in Latin America, will be held from March 14-18, 2016, at Parque de Eventos in Bento Gonçalves. More than 180 exhibitors have confirmed their participation. The international promotion calendar of the fair has included events in Mexico and Las Vegas.
