Project Orchestra Brazil leads the company INTERMOB Istanbul

From October 10th until 14th,Orchestra Brasil Project of promotion of exports of raw materials, technology and design to the furniture industry, promoted by the Association of Bento Gonçalves Furniture Industries (Sindmóveis) and the Brazilian Agency for Export and Investment Promotion ( Apex-Brazil), will attend the 18th INTERMOB Istanbul. This is the third appearance at the fair of furniture, accessories, forestry products and technology for the furniture industry. The institutional design will exhibit the Promob Software.

Consolidated fair in the Turkish market, INTERMOB is important for the sector in Eastern Europe, a region of Caucasia, Middle East and North Africa. The organization expects more than 65,000 trade visitors from 90 countries. Turkey is the 17th largest economy in the world and has GDP growth estimated at over 3% per year between 2014 and 2019, according to IMF data. Production of furniture in the country, in turn, has more than 35,000 manufacturers and annual revenues of $ 10 billion. Moreover, it is a leading global furniture exporters.

Promob will present  to the Turkish market its alternatives in software for the furniture industry, providing integrated solution from design to manufacturing and commercial. The company does not yet have operations in that market, but sees good opportunities due to the similarity with the Brazilian format of manufacture and distribution of furniture. Moreover, Turkey is the gateway to Europe, the high part of Africa and the Middle East markets to be explored by the company. "We are currently seeking to consolidate the brand in Latin America, strengthening our participation in markets where we have already been working and opening new ones. Also, we are prospecting new opportunities in African markets and just in Turkey to broaden operations in 2016, "points out the Promob Exporter, Luciana Adamatti.

Orchestra Brasil Project exists since 2006 and promotes competitive insertion of suppliers of the furniture sector in the international market. Currently, with the participation of 76 industries. In the first half of 2015, dollar amounts of exports of the supported companies fell 4.1%, while non-supported enterprises recorded a drop of 33.2%. Between 2010 and 2014, the project actions have led to a growth of 40 to 76 destinations. During this period, growth in dollar amounts of supported enterprises was 156.3% higher than non-assisted firms. The 2015 action calendar ends with the Buyer’s Project Orchestra Brasil Experience, in Bento Gonçalves, 16-20 November with the participation of 20 importer guests.
