From May 16-19, Orchestra Brasil – a project to encourage exports organized by Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) – will take part in Interzum Cologne. Three member companies – Brasmacol, CPI Papéis and Kolafit – will share a collective booth to exhibit their new products, in search of new businesses in the European market.
Interzum is today the most important world fair for the suppliers to the furniture industry. Famous for exhibiting products manufactured by the main global players in the sector, it is expected to feature at least 1,500 exhibitors from 57 countries and to receive approximately 60,000 professional visitors. "Exhibiting at this fair enhances the quality, value and innovation of companies, since Interzum is perceived as the place where reliable companies with international experience exhibit," says the president of Sindmóveis, Edson Pelicioli.
The Orchestra Brasil Project has been carried out since 2006 promoting the competitive inclusion of suppliers to the woodworking industry in the international market. To achieve this goal it promotes market research, missions to prospect markets, individual actions, Buyer’s Projects, Commercial Missions and Image Projects, in addition to taking part in major world trade fairs. Currently, Orchestra Brasil comprises 48 manufacturing companies. The priority markets for this year are Argentina, Chile, Colombia, the United States, Mexico and Peru.
