Penultimate action plan of the year features a booth at Sicam Pordenone, October 14-17
Orchestra Brasil, a sector-based project that encourages exports organized by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), will have an institutional booth at Sicam Pordenone – International Exhibition of Components, Semi-Finished Products and Accessories for the Furniture Industry. This is the second participation of the project in the Italian fair, to be held from August 14 to 17.
Taking part in Sicam is part of a strategic planning of the project, as the fair buyers from all over Europe and North Africa and 35% of the attendees are foreigners. The event will hold its sixth edition standing out on the global scenario of fairs due to its representativeness, particularly for the segment of accessories and components supplied to the furniture industry. The 2013 show received 16,000 professional visitors from 94 countries.
About the Orchestra Brasil Project
The Orchestra Brasil Project has been carried out since 2006 promoting the competitive inclusion of suppliers of the woodworking sector in the international market in a sustainable way. Currently it comprises 73 member companies and 42 design studios. The priority markets for the 2014/2015 period are South Africa, Argentina, Colombia, United States, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Turkey. The work of the design center is aimed at the United States.
During 2014, the Orchestra Brasil Project developed ten trade initiatives including fairs and missions to prospect markets around the world. The last show attended by members of the project members will be Fenafor Peru, October 23-25.
