The Orchestra Brasil Project – developed by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) – will organize the Buyer’s project business meetings during the 7th International Tradeshow for the Suppliers to the Woodworking Industry, held from July 26-29 at the Anhembi Pavilhão de Exposições, in São Paulo.
Five importers from Latin America were invited to negotiate with ten suppliers to the furniture industry. They come from countries with good potential for imports from Brazil: Bolivia, Colombia, El Salvador and Ecuador. The business meetings will be held on July 28, fostering international business within the fair.
The Orchestra Brasil Project promotes the exports of suppliers to the furniture industry and the Brazilian designer service. In addition to the participation in international trade shows and in the main Brazilian fairs aimed at the woodworking segment, the project offers training courses, conducts market research and creates positioning strategies in foreign markets. The growth of the participating companies is significant. The export destinations increased from 76 to 80 in 2015 and the overall balance of the period points to a growth of 9% for the member companies while the non-member companies exports fell by of 55%.
ForMóbile 2016 expects to receive approximately 60,000 visitors including manufacturers of mass-produced furniture, manufacturers of occasional furniture, wood workers, store representatives, architects, designers, specifiers and professionals of the woodworking industry. This Buyer’s Project is supported by Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves, Apex-Brasil, Informa Exhibitions and the participating companies: A&H Meyer, Brasmacol, Farben, Matana e Salvador, Metalsinos, Obispa, Promob, Renner Sayerlack, Rometal, SCM Group Tecmatic and Zen Design.
